Tracking pay scale for gender equity

NYCU is committed to eliminating gender pay gaps through pay transparency and equity. We comply with the Act of Gender Equality in Employment and actively monitor and track gender pay equity. Our remuneration schedules are grade-based and determined by job nature, experience, and responsibility—so there is no gender differential in the pay scales themselves. The Gender Equity Education Office maintains staff gender-composition reporting to monitor structural patterns alongside the pay-grade system. University-wide, our workforce is 52% female and 48% male. Within the Gender Equality Education Committee, 11 members are women—more than half of the committee. HR rules require itemized payroll details with each pay run, enabling internal cross-checks of pay items by gender and grade.
